We are located in the picturesque village of Hutton-le-Hole within the North York Moors National Park. You will find us next door to the Folk Museum looking over the beautiful village green. The wonderful grass is a splendid place for a picnic in the summer months and you will be able to paddle in the stream.
Emma Bridgewater
We offer a range of ceramics and other gifts from the famous Emma Bridgewater range – we stock the beautiful bird designs and the aptly named “Men at Work” pattern.
Ceramics
We have two principal ranges to appeal to all tastes. Take a look at
the unique pottery hand made by Katie Brinsley in her studio in Kent. We have teapots with tractors on the lid and butter dishes with cows for handles! We also have her milk jugs based on an iconic shape.
Glass
We searched high and low for hand made glass at an affordable price. Eventually we were introduced to William Shakspeare who makes all his own glass at his works in Taunton. Not only are these pieces unique they are also very practical and will make a lovely present to take home.
Local Produce
Not too far away in Leyburn the White Rose Preserve Company makes all its own jams, chutneys and marmalades. We stock our favourites so why not try a traditional Rhubarb and Ginger Preserve or be a bit more adventurous with Peggy’s Pear Chutney!
Prints
We are very pleased to offer works from the studio of Steven Townsend. Being located in a rural and agricultural area we could not resist the prints of working dogs. Take a look at Hawk out on the Moors and see if you can resist taking him home with you. All the prints come from a limited edition and are numbered and signed by the artist.
Taylors of Harrogate
We have a range of gifts from the famous Taylors of Harrogate. If the sun is shining why not try a cup of Yorkshire Blend and sit on the village green with a sandwich or fresh cake?
We can offer home made sandwiches made freshly every day, teas and coffees, cold drinks and a choice of scones made on the premises or a delicious cake.

Ice Cream
Even more important is our range of delicious ice creams made by Brymor in the Yorkshire Dales. Our favourite is Raspberry Cheesecake but you might prefer Black Cherry Whim Wham, Rum & Raisin or Rich Dark Chocolate! Choose two and enjoy a scoop of each.
All our ice cream is produced using only milk from the herd of pedigree Guernsey cows that graze on the lush pastures near Wensleydale.
